America’s Best RV Parks

America's Best RV Parks

Traveling via RV can be one of the most economical ways to explore the United States. Not only do you have the opportunity to experience the beautiful landscape and hillsides along the open road, but you save costs on lodging and often have the opportunity to meet some interesting people at RV parks throughout the country. Known for both their location and the amenities they offer, these are some of our favorite RV Parks.

1. Yosemite Pines RV Park: Yosemite National Park, California

If you are heading to Yosemite and do not want to pay the often high hotel prices nearby, consider staying at this awesome campground. Just 22 miles outside of the Yosemite National Park entrance it offers, not only the perfect spot to park your RV, but also a petting zoo for the kids, a swimming pool for cooling off after your visit to the Park and even a spot for kids to pan for gold.

2. Boyd’s Key West Campground: Key West, Florida

Pull into this park in Key West and experience your perfect beach vacation. There are a number of waterfront lots available to travelers as well as access to boat docks for those who seek to head out for a few hours on the water. Campers also have access to the free wireless internet, a beautiful beach that can be utilized during your stay and a heated swimming pool for a fun- filled afternoon with the family. The space has been owned and operated by the same family for the last 50 years and they strive to provide the perfect spot for you and your family to enjoy your vacation.

3. The Shady Dell: Bisbee, Arizona

The Shady Dell is a unique RV/Camping experience as you do not need your own RV to stay here. The park is home to nine fully restored vintage aluminum travel trailers. The trailers have been renovated to provide the perfect balance of 1950s charm with updated amenities of today. That being said, do not expect your stay to include high-speed internet or cable television as the park strives to maintain a 1950s vibe. The trailers each have a grassy yard, have radios that play 1950s era music, and televisions broadcast in two colors and magazines that are era-appropriate. It is the perfect getaway for those seeking to get off the grid for a few days.
