Site oif the rift valley of the Mid Atlantic Ridge, those willing to don a dive suit can head down to some of the clearest waters in the world and touch two continents at the same time. No where else is this possible and not only this, but with a certified dive center located here, people can plan with a PADI Dive center to spend a day or longer exploring this and other amazing sites in the park. Diving and snorkeling are both offered here and if you are up for an adventure, this is one like no other.
Located in South Iceland, the park is just 30 minutes from the largest and most popular city in Iceland, Reykjavik. Declared a national park in 1928 for its volcanic and tectonic importance, the park offers much in the way of history of the region as well.
